MUS3008   Music Placements   (20 credits)

Description

This module provides an opportunity for you to experience a working environment of interest to you and to undertake work-related learning in a professional music setting. You will choose and negotiate your own placement with the support of tutors and a directory of local and national organisations. Alongside the placement, tutors will support you through seminar sessions. Topics include: preparing for the placement, how to get the most out of the experience, and preparing for the assessment. Through this experience you will develop specialist knowledge of the music industries and critical, career-relevant reflective skills.
